Hostal On the periphery of el centro, great springboard for exploring the area. Property is quite recent, tidy, well laid out. Lots of parota wood. Had a good vibe. The common areas are arranged in away to be a little less of an echo chamber than at the adjacent, other hostal. Also I was there in the off season so my stay was quiet. Dorm beds were really stacked in there but each had a well thought out cubby at the head end with a light and outlet, frame bolted to the wall. I really appreciated the good bedding. Nice kitchen area.
