Great location. Facilities were wonderful. Temperature was great. Management was very communicative and easy to work with. Everything was always spotlessly clean. Bed was comfortable. Definitely will stay there again.

Staff are the best, customer service, local knowledge and general kindness were 11/10. Can't wait to visit again just for this. The working space is great for remote workers. The vibe during Songkran was HIGH. Bathrooms and shared spaces always clean, and you can grab a meal or a drink in the hostel or at street vendors/7 eleven just steps away. Walking distance from so many great spots. Home away from home.

For me, the world isn't just a place, it's a people. I really enjoyed meeting people in the Hostel, including the staff. Had a long conversation with Max. He was nice.

Very good location, 7-11 shop just next to it, easy to go anywhere. Good value, easygoing and quick responsive owner and staff. I will definitely come back again.

Relaxing hostel in a quiet street but still very centraly located.

El Bolígrafo was a beautiful experience! Everything was super comfortable and the place has such a lovely energy. I met wonderful people there. I even extended my stay for 6 more nights — that says it all! (And everything worked perfectly fine, contrary to what other reviews said). If I come back to Bangkok, I’ll definitely stay there again. Highly recommend it!

The facility and decorations in the room are very comfortable, with plenty of light. The toilet is spacious and has two sinks.

For solo travelers it is one of the best budget friendly and location friendly place you can use it as your base and go around the whole Bangkok especially this is important who likes to sightsee around because it’s a big city also yes it’s very close to the shopping areas. Staff is helpful and gives you good info about how you operate in the city. Plus free water to refill
