This place is honestly one of the best stays I’ve had. The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment you arrive. The staff were amazing very kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. It actually felt like the owners themselves were taking care of the guests because of how warm and personal the service was. They pay attention to every little detail and always make sure you feel comfortable. The bed was super soft and comfortable, probably one of the best parts of the stay for me. I slept so well here. And the air conditioning was unbelievably cold seriously perfect, especially after being outside in the heat all day. Everything felt cozy, relaxing, and well taken care of. You can really tell they care about their guests and want everyone to have a good experience. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great service and a very friendly atmosphere. Definitely would come back again

unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. During check-in, I was already informed there would be significant noise and that I might be able to change rooms the following day. That alone should have been a warning sign. The noise from the Full Moon Party was unbelievably loud throughout the entire night, with heavy bass making it impossible to sleep. On top of that, the room had openings that could not be properly closed, so there were constantly mosquitoes and flying insects inside the room. I woke up covered in bites and extremely uncomfortable. I ended up checking out early at 10 AM because the conditions were simply not manageable for me. What was also frustrating was that the next morning the noise issue was minimized, despite the fact it had already been acknowledged during check-in. The property itself may look nice in photos, but if rest, comfort, and sleep are important to you, I would strongly recommend being very careful before booking here.

I loved my stay at Propaganda. I chose to stay there as soon as I arrived in Koh Phangan because it is relatively close to the pier and within walking distance. I ended up extending my stay and returning several times during the month. The hostel is super clean, the beds are comfortable, with sockets and spotlights in the beds, and there are common areas where I could work peacefully in silence. The staff who work there are super friendly and I also had great communication with the owner via WhatsApp. It is not a party hostel and not very sociable either, but I personally liked it and recommend it.

The hotel is incredibly clean. The common areas are cleaned several times a day. The dormitory is very spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable. You'll find a rooftop terrace with hammocks and sunbeds to relax on, it is a real bonus and was my favorite place. There's also a kitchen available. Séverine's helpfulness and kindness are the icing on the cake :-)

The vibes of the hostel are very good, if you like the balance between a quiet place and friendly people even at the middle of mess in Koh phangan

What a nice place to stay. The people who run this hostel are so so kind. I felt at home as soon as I got there. They even lent us goggles to go snorkeling :) Not a party hostel at all but if you’re looking for a restful place that feels like home, this is it! Also so much cleaner than anywhere else I’ve stayed Recommend x100 !

Super clean and comfy room in cute guesthouse close to market and ferry

• Wonderful Host: Penny is incredibly sweet and treated us like family—she was truly like a mother to us. • Exceptional Service: She even gave my two friends and me a lift to the pier because our bags were so heavy. • Great Dorm Setup: We stayed on the first floor, and it was so nice to have single beds with curtains for privacy instead of standard bunk beds. • Location: Super convenient, only a 5-minute walk from the pier. • Facilities: Great to have access to a kitchen, a fridge, and unlimited free drinking water. Super clean bathroom.
