The staff were wonderful, helpful and polite. The kitchen was large and very well-equipped, which is not so common nowadays. The dorm rooms are large and clean. The mattresses are firm and new, and the bedding very clean. The lockers are large. The bathrooms, although a little worn were spotlessly clean. The hostel is located within walking distance of all the major things one would want to see in the city. Several large-ish supermarkets and fresh produce smalls were all close by. It was very quiet in the hostel, which may not suit everyone but it suited me. (On my arrival, one of the staff had made a large meal for herself and other staff, and invited me to join them. It was a very kind gesture and a very lovely meal, and very memorable).
