The hostel’s atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxing, offering the perfect blend of comfort and community. The rooms were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, ensuring a good night’s rest. I particularly loved the outdoor spaces – the lush garden and chill-out areas are ideal for unwinding and connecting with fellow travelers. The location is also a huge plus – close enough to the city’s highlights but tucked away in a peaceful corner that allows you to truly relax. If you’re looking for an affordable, welcoming, and unique place to stay in Nairobi, Jabulani is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return and make even more memories here. Highly recommended!

Kenya in general does not have nice hostels and accommodations; however this place is like an oasis in the desert. It’s amazing. Very peaceful and super nice. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm. Very quiet, clean, nice bathrooms, lockers, privacy curtains, mosquito nets (I never saw mosquitos in the rooms), hot water, great kitchen, nice little free breakfast, nice staff, super nice pool, good common areas, great WiFi, location is fine. There are tuk tuks everywhere. I ended up staying here 9 nights. This hostel is very new and you can tell.

I throughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Hera- especially as a solo traveller. Staff were friendly and helpful, pets were cute, facilities great. Highly recommend visiting the natural African Pool nearby.

This stay surpassed my expectations, ended up staying double the time I intended. The host is wonderful and so accomodating. Ridiculous value for money, great place to relax by the pool, also there are bodas passing all the time to take you to town when need be. Bonus points for the kindest dog you can imagine!
