Excellent place! The owners are really nice and helpful and were even accommodating our plans as they changed! A really nice lady serves daily breakfast which is super yummy and if you leave before that, they can prepare you a lunch bag! The room and bed was nice and clean and got cleaned daily and the shower was great! Overall an excellent stay!

I loved the dorm. It had lockers and shelves. The beds were comfortable and the wifi worked great. Breakfast was amazing! They had all the basics of a continental breakfast and they made pancakes and eggs. They also helped me with booking tours. Best hostal I stayed in Chile.

Hostal Sonchek definitely is your best cost-benefit option in San Pedro de Atacama. It is lass than 100 meters from Caracoles, the main street, and the rooms and services are very good at a very attractive price. Florencia is a differential from the hostal, making every interaction with the employees just perfect. Also the owners are very nice and kindness, always ready for help and provide assistance when needed. Despite you can not bring visitors inside the hostal, there is many great common areas that you can enjoy with the others guests - as a very good kitchen with teas, coffee and free coca leafs. The cleaness are very good dispite everything is very simple. Super recommend this place and also I will be back again as an guest anytime I visit Atacama. Thank you for everything!

The hostel is so thoughtful even prepared snacks for early check out guests. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. At the corner, there is a homemade receipt restaurant compared to the center, much cheaper. Mini market is also beside the Hostal.
