Great location in downtown Cairo. Breakfast is included and very friendly staff who gave great recommendations about the area. I also joined the tours they organised through the hostel and all of these were really great experiences and very smoothly organised. (FYI it's located on the 10th floor of the building when you arrive)

The staff was incredibly kind and would drop what they were doing if I needed anything. Everyone makes sure that you are enjoying Cairo 🙂 I had read reviews and expected the building’s lobby to be a tad iffy, so I knew that the lobby was not representative of the hostel going in. Generally felt incredibly safe and taken care of during my stay, especially traveling alone.

Excellent breakfast, central safe location next to The Ministry of Trade, or so it appears. The staff was great. Aya is pleasant, welcoming and empathetic. When I needed help with an embarrassing situation she cleverly knew how to navigate it and make me feel safe. Jalal knew how to sell me on the idea of going on a guided tour to Alexandria, which turned out great. Especially the tour guide was really good at her job. So, that means I recommend the tours organized at the hostel as well! The most memorable part of my trip to Egypt was making friends at my hostel, and making friends throughout the city.

I had a wonderful stay at Landmark Hostel Cairo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Tahrir Square and less than five minutes on foot to the old museum, which made sightseeing incredibly convenient. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was fresh, generous, and a great way to start the day before heading out to explore Cairo. The staff truly made the experience even better—they were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or anything else I needed. Overall, Landmark Hostel Cairo offers great value, a welcoming atmosphere, and a prime location for exploring the heart of the city. I would definitely stay here again.

I really appreciated how convenient and accessible the location was from downtown. The staff, though I really wouldn't call them that, were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hostels are quite serene and warm to foreign travelers. Definitely going back to Cairo and back to Dahab!
