This auberge is perfectly situated in the heart of Cassis. The owners, Mimi & Jean-Luc, were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Also, the two WorkAway volunteers that were there, Alba and Frans, made everyone’s stay really pleasant. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was tidy and organised, and the outdoor terrace was a great place to sit and chat with the other guests. Almost everyone I met was a returning guest, and I can see why :).

The host was very friendly and she allowed us to check in earlier as the room was ready and she was on site. We went to Castellane for 1 night from Nice to stargaze the perseids meteor shower and we had an incredible experience. It was also accessible to contemplate from the backyard of L'Oustaou hostel, there are deckchairs available.

Attractively located in the center of Marseille, The People - Marseille has air-conditioned rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace.

One of the best hostels I've been to, big, spacious, rooms and the whole hostel clean, showers and toilets. They have lockers to leave your stuff, you pay for the locker with a card, but if you don't want that, you can leave your stuff in the same room next to the lockers, but then they're not locked and other guests have access to those rooms, so you leave your stuff like that at your own risk, so if that's okay with you, you can leave your stuff like that. The breakfast is extensive, you can take as much as you want, they also have fruit. My room was spacious, air-conditioned all the time, the beds are comfortable and clean, perfect. Recommendation for this hostel.

it was like staying in a home. Everyone spoke french which forced me, finally, to use my french and become more comfortable doing that. I could always find someone with english if I needed it. They had a great kitchen and nearby markets so I had fun cooking for myself. There was also a great walk going south right from the the hostel that I did one day

Hostel Vertigo Vieux Port is located 5 minutes from the old port. Its central location means you can enjoy all that this beautiful city has to offer.
