First, the hotel is near the MTR Causeway Bay station exits D and E. Near the bus stops and ding ding trams (Paterson Street). I like the place is cleaned regularly. The staff are nice, especially Sam, who welcomes his guests with a wide smile. He’s so friendly that you will get shy of him.

Only 1 mi away to MTR Mong Kok Station, The Mah-jongg is located in Hong Kong. Free WiFi access is available.

Traditional HK house with clean interior.Great stuff, very understanding, perfect service, feel free to ask them for recommendations. A lot of great food options around, MRT is also in a few minutes walk, easy to travel to the airport with direct bus. Quite astonished that this hostel has such a low ranking, it's definitely shot above its weight.

Reception Gary is super helpful and tell me upfront that things that I needed to know before he gave me the room key. Location close to water sports center plus they have a very big kitchen with all the kitchen wares in it. If I stay more than 1 night, I would definitely do grocery shopping and do some master chefs' cooking in their place. A/C is cold. Quiet neighborhood have me a very good night sleep.

The view is unbelievable out there and it's definitely worth the price although inconveniences exist: 1. Restrict basketball, skateboarding, and other noisy activities to regular hours, ie. ban them early morning and after 7 or 8 PM or so. 2. Share bike system was still being put in place but it does not look like there will be enough bicycles. There should be at least 2 or 3 times the number I saw. Reducing the number of bikes is easy but guests are going to be unhappy racing in the mornings to get bikes or being stuck without one. 3. Designate a smoking area. I saw many people smoking, one near the rooms and others hiding. It's unrealistic to believe that nobody will smoke so having that space for smokers would be more inclusive and lead to better outcomes for non-smokers as well. 4. Staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful. 5. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious, mind you this is Hong Kong. 6. The free toothbrushes they provided has soft bristles which is super rare for free toothbrushes so that was nice. 7. It's very quiet out there, no road noise and being able to go for a walk with that view was perfect for my needs, ie. it's almost like taking a trip to a smaller city near Hong Kong. 8. Vending machines worked fine and the prices are reasonable. 9. The shuttle bus runs on time and is super convenient. 10. The rooms have good locks and security was never an issue although I did find the other guests walking by my window tended to peek inside, nothing creepy but FYI it could be cultural differences.
