Everything about Ostello Bello was 10/10. From the moment I arrived, I felt like part of a family, not just a guest with a room number and bed assigned. This was my first hostel in Italy, and my first time in Bologna, and Ostello Bello will be one of my favourite memories. The facilities are well thought out and the spaces designed for relaxation and socialising - depending what you are looking for. There are activities every night, and the staff are enthusiastic about ensuring that everyone is invited and included. The kitchen is a wonderful place to chat as you prepare your meals, and although Bologna has excellent restaurants and cafes, I've never stayed in a hostel that provides fresh produce, pasta, oil, herbs - enough to make a great vegetable pasta and stretch that budget if you need to. Thank you to Nelson, Gabriel, Ani, Frederico and all the staff for making my stay so memorable. I highly recommend a stay at Ostello Bello when you visit Bologna. It's only a short walk into the centre, but you'll enjoy the hostel so much you may not want to leave.

The lady at the reception was very friendly. She gave me a tour of the hostel upon arrival. She also offered having a dinner together with other guests, which I politely declined due to having other plans.
