The hostel was as clean as a 5-star hotel, neat and tastefully designed. The mattress was very soft and warm, the dormitory was very spacious and airy due to the high ceiling. Close to many supermarkets and bus stations. The kitchen was small but fully equipped. The owner has OCD of cleanest so consider it if you are not the type of neat traveler who cleans it after use. Overall, this place is very safe and comfortable for me. I came back after finishing my tour of the Mangystau region.

This is a great location to spend the night. There are restaurants and markets within walking distance. The staff is amazing!

It is crazily cheap, and you get what you pay for. The rooms are actually quite good, however the bathrooms are in a mere shadow of their former glory. And they were actually not that glorious even in their high time. The staff looked pretty grumpy but was actually quite helpful. So maybe I misinterpreted their facial expressions. And I could check in at 5am without extra charge. This is a great plus!
