Charming! The hotel is like a fairytale. Beautiful spot. The restaurant is very good and reasonable prices. The staff very nice and attentive. Perfect, country side hotel.

Tungestolen is amazing! Jorn is a gracious host with mad cooking skills! Our family was thrilled with our stay here. Complimentary breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We paid extra for dinner both nights and it was well worth it. The views everywhere are incredible, the facilities very clean. When we weren't hiking, we relaxed in the main building with endless coffee, tea, and serenity.

Mini-fridge and tea kettle in shared area were a pleasant surprise. Room was much larger than the description; I estimate it at approximately 200 square feet. Uphill from the road, with minimal traffic noise. Nice views of the surrounding countryside. Shared kitchen was spacious and useful. Easy walking access to downtown. Plenty of storage shelves and wardrobes.

HI Bergen Hostel Montana is located up the hillside of Mount Ulriken, about 2.2 mi from Bergen City Center and easily accessed by public transportation.

It was clean, beds are great, rooms are great, they have lockers for everyone and each bed was an individual light and socket
