Arrived late due to locomotive breaking down before first connection to Ljubljana. However, after notifying management of MS Sparrow of later arrival (after 1AM), I received a message giving me the code to front door and location of room and bed. I had trouble with code but got help through management to open door. They assigned me to a six-bed dorm. However, I was he only occupant for the two days of my stay. Nearby was a great cafe for coffee and drinks (vey cheap). Pizza place on the other side with Subway and grocery story nearby also. Kitchen was great with frig, MW, and EK and plenty of tables, silverware, dishes, pots, etc. Host Dennis was very helpful.

Hostel Bearlog Kočevje is located in Kočevje and features a shared lounge. The hostel also has free WiFi and free private parking. At the hostel, each room includes a closet.

The staff was very helpful. They spoke very good English and they gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat. The hostel was very comfortable. It had two big kitchens, fully equipped. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, equipped with traditional wood furniture. There was adequate parking space and a cute area in the yard with tables to hang out.

The girls at the reception were very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean, and there was plenty of space in the common area to enjoy a coffee or drink. The kitchen was nice, and the facilities were very clean. There's also a terrace where you can relax under the warm sun.

I've passed through here twice on different bike trips and its a real high light. Feels like spending a night at a sleep away camp in a good way.

Location was absolutely perfect, on the river and close to everything. Hostel was clean and staff was friendly.

It's a charming place, even better than in the pictures. It is in the center of Kranj city, with free parking 3min on a walk. Very kind staff and a good coffee + some breakfast options in the lobby.
