The Nolita Express Hotel is charming, unique and really affordable. The bathrooms were clean and the pods are really small, but they allow for some privacy – and they were also neat and clean. Staff was friendly. The location is awesome and the area feels safe and walkable.

Very good hostel! Cheap price compared to the usual New York prices. Good location. Large, clean rooms with comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms. Great commun areas, huge kitchen with staff dedicated to keeping it clean and organized. Small snack bar for the ones who don’t want to cook. Lounge rooms with stand up comedy shows twice a week, great patio, games, book shelf, computer / printer, laundry.. Everything you need is here. Great atmosphere!

It was great. You get what you pay for and this was exceptionally cheap for NYC. Location was amazing, staff great. Its ultimately a cheap hostel so facilities/room are as such. No complaints from us. Thanks for a great stay

A clean, cheap place in a great place! It's so easy to step out of the hostel and straight into Central Park. 103 street is only 3 blocks away and takes you downtown easily, and directly up to the Yankees stadium if you try that. The staff were nice too.

The common areas are nicely decorated with a relaxing ambience. Staffs are friendly, responsive, and helpful. The price is considered cheaper than most hostels in NYC (but at a mental cost, though).

Great location, absolutely gorgeous staff, safe surroundings, a big supermarket nearby, close to subway (express line to WTC 20 minutes). A nice building with high ceilings, really clean with a nice kitchen and common room. You can easily walk to two piers at Long Island City Gantry Plaza or Hunters Point South (a little bit further but still walkable even at night). Ferries is a must, the views of Manhattan are absolutely stunning (4$ with 120-minute transfer window)

I went to Nap York initially for its price, since I was travelling along in NYC - but what a surprise! The hostel is perfect, rooms are big and quiet. You feel "alone" as each bed is well independent from others. In general, the hostel was really clean and quiet, and even if I was in a mixed room, there was no trouble sharing the room with men and women. I would highly recommend to anyone to stay there - and would definitely come back. Cherry on the cake : safe neighborhood and 1 block away from Central Park!

The property itself was in a very convenient spot as it was only a 7 minute walk away from the nearest subway. The staff were really nice and felt welcome by them. It was nice having the biggest room and bed in the hostel and even though I was a solo female traveler in a mixed dorm, I did feel safe. Good for its price!
