It’s been a hundred years since Maria and Paula Dornhofer followed their father’s advice and bought this house in the Rankengasse. In 2010, we decided to breathe new life into these old walls and started renovating some of the flats. After two years of breaking down walls and then rebuilding some others, painting rooms and window frames, polishing floors and designing furniture, we opened the five apartments of the Altstadthaus. We want to show our guests the real Graz as we know it and love it. Our seven fictional hosts not only give each individual apartment its own character, but they will also help you become an "echter Grazer."
