PLEASE READ: This apartment does not have a cleaning service, so you need to bring your own bed linen and towels and clean the apartment well before departure for the next guests (all cleaning supplies are in the apartment). The Comfort Apartment is a spacious ground-floor apartment with an area of 65 m², ideal for up to 6 people (max. 4 adults). It offers two separate bedrooms, a garden, a parking space, and a ski storage room. The apartment is located in a valley with beautiful views that you can see even from the windows. From the bedroom, there is a French window leading directly to the garden, where you will find seating and a fire pit. If you are planning accommodation for a larger group, it is possible to rent the Matschiedl and Matschiedl 2 apartments, providing accommodation for up to 10 people. The apartment has Wi-Fi and internet TV with Netflix. The city tax is paid in cash at the accommodation, it is 2.6 Euros per adult per night.

The village of Matschiedl, with only 98 inhabitants, is at first sight nothing special. However, its charm lies in its unique location. It lies in a picturesque valley at 726 metres above sea level, surrounded by panoramic views of the Southern Alps. This hidden gem in the heart of the Carinthian mountains is a true paradise for lovers of nature and outdoor activities. Lush green meadows, shady forests and dramatic mountain peaks create the perfect setting for hiking, cycling and enjoying sunny days under the Cornish sky. Matschiedl is located in the Adriatic zone with a mild climate in the Gailtal valley. The village is only 25 minutes drive from Villach, 10 minutes from the picturesque Pressenger See lake, 20 minutes from Nassfeld and 30 minutes from the borders with Italy (Tarvisio) and Slovenia (Kranjska Gora). Thanks to its location, Matschiedl offers a wide range of activities - swimming, cycling, cable cars, ferrata, thermal baths and many other experiences. It is no coincidence that this area is called the World of Mountains & Lakes.
