New, modern apartment with air-conditioning.
Originally from England, your hosts met in Austria in the late 1980s, whilst working in the travel industry. They guided tour groups around the local area, including Hallstatt, and still enjoy welcoming guests to this magical area and offering information to help everyone make the most of their stay :-)
Enjoy panoramic mountain scenery with wonderful forest and river walks just seconds away ... discover peace and tranquility in a delightful, natural setting. Aircon is available - for easeful, cool summer sleeping! Fabulous sightseeing in the local area include the picturesque village of Hallstatt and a variety of other stunning lakes in the area. The Krippenstein mountain offers the 5 Fingers viewing platform and ice caves in the summer, and skiing in the winter. Further skiing (and hiking!) are at Dachstein West (resorts of Gosau / Russbach), approx 20 mins drive away. There are local health spas for visiting during the day / evening, and Salzburg is just over an hours drive away.
