Our apartment house is located in a quiet and central location just outside of Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. The centre with many shops, restaurants and supermarkets is 1.5 kilometres away and within walking distance. The nearest bakery is 500 metres from your holiday apartment. The Penkenbahn cable car is also only a 15-minute walk away. In winter, the free ski bus stops right outside the house and takes you comfortably to the Horbergbahn or Penkenbahn cable cars in Mayrhofen in just a few minutes time. Beautiful hiking trails and easy walking paths start right from your house. The Taverne apartment house is the perfect choice for all those, who prefer to stay centrally located yet enjoy a quiet holiday in Mayrhofen.

Rent an e-bike and cycle along the river or into the picturesque side valleys, stroll leisurely to Mayrhofen and enjoy the Alpine flair in the many nice cafés and restaurants in the village centre. A gondola ride to the Penken adventure mountain or the Ahorn leisure mountain is always worthwhile to enjoy the view from over 2,000 metres and savour the culinary delights of the Zillertal huts. Whether you are looking for action with canyoning and rafting with friends or planning a cosy family holiday with children and dogs, our holiday apartments are a practical summer home for everyone! Winter Our holiday apartments are the perfect base for your winter holiday in the Zillertal. With over 542 kilometres of slopes, 180 lifts and numerous ski areas, the Zillertal is one of the most popular winter sports destinations in the Alps. With the Zillertal Superskipass, you can explore all the ski areas in one holiday. How convenient that the free ski bus stops right outside the front door of Appart Taverne and takes you to the nearest cable cars: Horbergbahn, Penkenbahn or Ahornbahn in just a few minutes. And even if you don't ski, you will get the great chance to discover the mountains on magical winter hiking trails at mount Penken (Penkenbahn) and mount Ahorn (Ahornbahn). Your equipment will of course be kept safe, dry and warm in our large ski room with boot dryers.
