MarktlAlm Turracher Höhe with its villages Almdorf Turrach and Almdorf Sonnleitn is located on the Turracher Höhe mountain pass, at 5.6 feet above sea level. It consists of 30 huts and a restaurant amid Europe's largest Swiss stone pine forest. The huts feature a fully equipped kitchen, a dining corner, a living room with a wood-burning oven and free of charge firewood. They also have a terrace or a balcony. Some units feature a wood-fired sauna. Characteristic Carinthian and Styrian specialties can be enjoyed in the restaurant on site. On request fresh bread rolls can be delivered to your door every morning. The slopes can be reached via a ski path, across the street. You can also use the free shuttle service taking you to the ski schools and ski elevators and back again.

The perfect mountain holiday resort - at any time of year MarktlAlm is the perfect holiday resort during any season of the year. From November to May the Turracher Höhe at 1.800 meters above sea level guarantees plenty of snow which makes it the perfect destination for winter sports enthusiasts. From spring to autumn the Turracher Höhe offers excellent conditions for hiking and enjoying the beauty of nature. Recharge your batteries in Austria's largest stone pine forest.
