Our newly designed spacious rooms and dining area are cozy and offer high standards of accommodation. >>> We are a shoe-free house! <<< You will be kindly requested to remove your shoes at the entrance door. Don't worry about the cold; we have carpets and underfloor heating. Our guesthouse is located in the famous region of Ausseerland-Salzkammergut, in the expansive Hinterberger Valley at the foot of the majestic Grimming Mountain, between the charming towns of Bad Aussee and Bad Mitterndorf, near Lake Ödensee. We are delighted to be in one of the most beautiful places in Austria, offering a rich array of leisure activities. In the mood for sports? Hike, mountain bike, swim, or paddle in one of the many lakes during summer. Ski downhill or cross-country in winter, or indulge in hot springs at two thermal spas nearby. In the mood for sightseeing? Visit the picturesque city of Hallstatt, the Villa of Emperor Franz Joseph I and his famous wife Sisi in Bad Ischl, or even the beautiful city of Salzburg, reachable for a day trip."
Ausseerhaus im Grünen is a private house owned by an international couple. We were pleased to welcome our first guests in September 2020.
