We lived internationally for 21 years before moving to Velden. We soon discovered that Velden is a conveniently located and vibrant base to explore the region. Within an hour's drive, there are many diverse attractions to explore and enjoy. With 20 years of travel experience, we converted two levels of our house into holiday apartments. We set up the apartments to incorporate features and needs that we have appreciated during our holidays around the world to make you comfortable and relaxed.
We have been exploring our region for the past 6 years. We love the outdoors- hiking and cycling. We are happy to share tips for day trips and the best places to visit and experience.
Our house is at the end of a closed road. Backerteich (Baker's Pond) is just across the street. It is a habitat that attracts waterbirds and many other wildlife, including otters and beavers. We are surrounded by nature. You can park your vehicle with us, and with an easy 8-minute walk, you can be in Velden village. It is only 300 meters to the nearest supermarket.
