Owned by an art collector, Kalsdorf Castle is an architecturally unique property and its grounds are dotted with sculptures and installations. Due to the historic nature of this property, we are unable to provide wheel chair access. Access to the apartment is via a quite steep and narrow staircase, which may not be suitable for all guests, especially those with impaired mobility and/or traveling with bulky luggage. Please note, this property is historic and parts of it are not safe for children and pets to explore unsupervised. For EV drivers, there is a free Type 2 charging cable on the premises (22kW AC). Local regulations require a form to be filled out. The overnight tax of 2.5 euros per night is included in the price.

Kalsdorf Castle is located in the eastern part of Styria, Austria, amidst forests, vineyards and hot springs. It lies en-route between Graz and Vienna and is a convenient stop-over when driving to/from Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary. The nearest airport is Graz Airport (49 km) and you can get here from Vienna Airport in under 90 minutes. The forests behind the castle are perfect for walking and there are lovely bike routes you can explore all around this part of Styria. Top tourist attractions nearby include Riegersburg Castle, Zotter Chocolate Factory and Herberstein Zoo. Lush walking and cycling routes start right at our doorstep.
