This sun-drenched, spacious holiday apartment is newly renovated and features a fireplace, a free-standing bathtub, antique parquet flooring and private parking. Perfect for couples as the double bedroom opens into the lounge area. Up to two additional mattresses can be placed in the lounge, as needed. Owned by an art collector, Kalsdorf Castle is an architecturally unique property and its grounds are dotted with sculptures and installations. It is conveniently located en-route between Graz and Vienna, amidst Styria's volcanic springs & spas. Due to the historic nature of this property, we are unable to provide wheel chair access. Access to the apartment is via a quite steep and narrow staircase, which may not be suitable for all guests, especially those with impaired mobility and/or traveling with bulky luggage. Please note, parts of the property are not safe for children and pets to explore unsupervised.

Kalsdorf Castle is located in the eastern part of Styria, Austria, amidst forests, vineyards and hot springs. It lies en-route between Graz and Vienna and is a convenient stop-over when driving to/from Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary. The nearest airport is Graz Airport (49 km) and you can get here from Vienna Airport in under 90 minutes. The forests behind the castle are perfect for walking and there are lovely bike routes you can explore all around this part of Styria. Top tourist attractions nearby include Riegersburg Castle, Zotter Chocolate Factory and Herberstein Zoo. Lush walking and cycling routes start right at our doorstep.
