Welcome to the Neubau holiday apartments! Why the name Neubau? It is the house name of our building in Alpbach. Almost every house here carries a distinctive family name. In 2015 we decided to demolish the old building—whose roots and name go back to 1827—and in eight months rebuild it completely. A special challenge in the village center. Completion was in December 2016. We focus on modern, sustainable construction and high-quality amenities, for example fiber-optic internet/Wi-Fi as well as a heating and hot-water system with geothermal energy and photovoltaics. The façade design reflects Alpbach’s tradition: local larch was used, a high-quality wood that is free of chemical coatings and gentle on the environment. The interior furnishings come from a carpenter. The rooms feature oiled oak parquet. A notable feature is the floor made from recycled material laid throughout the house, which performs well. The double bed in the rooms can be converted into two single beds upon request. New since the winter season 25/26: On the ground floor there is a laundry room (fee) and a 24/7 shop offering local groceries and other essential seasonal travel products.
