Girass di! I'm Josef, and I run our little family business up here in the mountains. Ever since I can remember, I've loved being a host and it makes me happy when folks come to us to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet. Up here on the mountain, it's still properly calm – just the way it's meant to be. But at the same time, and that's the beauty of it, you're quick in the thick of things if you want to experience something. Our holiday apartments might not be the biggest or full of luxury, but they're practical, well-equipped, and always clean. In the summer, the pool and the playground are especially a dream for the kids. Tirol got so much to offer, and from here at the Sumperer, you're quick to wherever you want to go. Whether it's up at the Achensee, into Innsbruck with the city folk, or into the biggest ski resorts of Austria down in the Zillertal – everything's within reach. And if you like heading up the mountain, whether in winter or summer, our very own mountain the Pillberg is perfect for hiking, a nice bike tour, a small family ski area right outside the door, an early ski tour up the Naunz, and for the kids, it's just amazing with the longest toboggan run in Tirol. What we don't have here is the massive hustle and bustle like in the big tourist spots – just what you really need when, like me, you love the mountains and nature. You're basically right in the heart of Tirol, but you've got the peace, the nature, and yet the adventure isn't far off. That's exactly what one imagines, right? Our cosy, family-run house is situated in a quiet location at 1,200 m above sea level. From our sun terrace you have a unique alpine panorama over the Inn Valley to Innsbruck - because the Pillberg is the sunny balcony of the Inn Valley. Start your day in summer with a trip to Lake Achensee or Innsbruck. Sporty types can enjoy cycling tours or hikes in the marvellous Tyrolean mountains. In the afternoon you can relax in our outdoor swimming pool. In winter, the small, family-friendly and inexpensive Kellerjoch ski area with its varied pistes is right on the doorstep. There are also several toboggan runs on the mountain, including the longest toboggan run in Tyrol. There are many other possibilities such as snowshoe hikes, ski tours or excursions to the numerous large ski areas in Tyrol.
