Welcome to our place – where passion, creativity and genuine hospitality come together. Since 2013, we have been running the house, which we took over from Melanie’s parents, with great dedication and the clear goal of offering our guests not just a place to stay, but a place to feel good. Standing still is not our style – we continuously develop the house with new ideas, great attention to detail and a strong sense of personality. We are a well-coordinated team: Andreas is responsible for technology, woodwork, solutions and everything that needs to function smoothly – reliable, practical and well thought out. Melanie is the creative heart of the house: organisation, design, guest care, colours, ideas and the famous “girl for everything”, always with an open ear and a great feel for people. Of course, our family is also part of this place: Since 2015, our daughter Theresa has been part of the journey, followed by Lorenz (2018) and Vinzent (2021). They bring life into the house – but above all, we are creative minds who love designing spaces, creating atmosphere and being hosts by conviction. What do we love most about hosting? We are proud of our 3 Edelweiss Superior award – not because it hangs on the wall, but because it reflects the way we work. We pay attention, we take care, and we continuously improve. Our house is not a finished product, but a living place that is constantly evolving. What guests notice immediately is the love for detail. The hostess herself adds colour, warmth and personality to the apartments with her colourful artwork and creative ideas. Each apartment has its own character – no standard look, but spaces with soul. The host is a true all-rounder: he builds, repairs, improves and creates using wood and many other materials. His craftsmanship can be found throughout the house – usually practical, often with a touch of humour, and always with great attention to quality. Sustainability is not a buzzword for us, but part of everyday life. A photovoltaic system with battery storage on the roof allows us to use self-generated electricity efficiently. Heating and water treatment systems are optimised, modern building technology supports resource-saving operations, and consistent waste separation is practiced throughout the house. We continuously invest in technology that makes sense – durable, efficient and responsible. And then there is what truly makes our house unique: our colourful animals. They appear in and around the house, surprise our guests, bring smiles to faces and turn a stay into an experience. For children, they are an adventure; for adults, a real eye-catcher – and for many guests, the reason our house is remembered. As a certified family-friendly accommodation and premium partner of Big Family Stubai and Familiennester Tirol, our guests benefit from numerous advantages throughout the Stubai Valley and directly at our house.

You’ll become public transport lovers here – even if you aren’t yet. Public transportation in the Stubaital is so well developed that you can comfortably leave your car in the garage or even arrive relaxed by train. The bus stop is just 50 metres from the house – it really couldn’t be closer. In summer, the Stubai Super Card includes free travel throughout the Stubai Valley and all the way to Innsbruck. You can also enjoy the charming Stubaitalbahn to Innsbruck at no extra cost – a lovely experience for both adults and children. In winter, the free ski bus takes you comfortably right to the ticket offices of all ski resorts. Non-skiers and evening guests benefit as well: with the guest card, all guests can use the regular bus services free of charge. The cross-country ski trail runs directly opposite the house – perfectly prepared and extending over many kilometres. Just step outside, clip in and glide away ⛷️ Hiking enthusiasts will also feel right at home: walking and hiking trails start directly at the house, no car and no detours required. Daily necessities are close at hand too: A supermarket is only about 200 metres away and easily reached on foot. Several restaurants are within walking distance, perfect for days when the kitchen gets a break. And then there’s one small but very special extra: Nearby, there is a farm where children can collect fresh milk straight into a milk can, almost like Heidi.
