The Glatzl Trahütten Alm has always been part of our farm in the quiet village of St. Lorenzen am Wechsel. We run this hut as a family business and try to give you a nice time with us.
Property info
The Glatzl Trahütten Alm is located at almost 1,300 meters above sea level and is idyllically nestled in the Wechselland region of eastern Styria.
Our alpine hut is not a hotel. However, anyone looking for a special adventure is welcome to stay with us.
Overnight accommodation with 25 beds in 8 shared rooms.
Sheets are provided - please bring your own sleeping bag or bed linen and towels.
Restrooms and shared showers are on the ground floor.
A hearty breakfast is included with overnight stays (excluding egg dishes and muesli).
Attention!!! Toll road!!! Have 4 euros in coins available!!! No ATM payments accepted!!!

Take the A2, exit at Pinggau Friedberg, continue on the B54 towards Graz until you reach the St. Lorenzen am Wechsel exit.
By car from Graz:
Take the A2, exit at Hartberg, continue on the B54 towards Vienna until you reach the St. Lorenzen am Wechsel exit.
Continue to Glatzl Trahütten Alm:
Approximately 3 km before the town of St. Lorenzen, take the Auerbach turnoff; a forest road leads to the hut.
