This spacious and luxurious corner house is located directly at the Kreischberg ski area, in a new and modern Alpine holiday resort. Within walking distance you reach the lifts, the slopes and the local bakery with fresh bread rolls. You can also easily reach the center of the friendly village of Sankt Lorenzen, with a few shops and restaurants, on foot. The local slow train / steam train stops about 100m in front of the front door. The House: On the ground floor you will find a spacious living room with a comfortable sofa from which you can watch a movie on a 58" Smart TV with Ambient Light or a modern kitchen with peninsula, wine cabinet and a Jura coffee machine. In this kitchen you can prepare a delicious breakfast or evening meal in no time, which you can then eat on the covered terrace from Wedgwood crockery. When the weather is not so good, the sturdy castle table is a cozy place to come together and have dinner or play a game. From the south-facing terrace, the kitchen and the dining table you have a view of the garden and the surrounding mountains. On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms with a double box-spring bed with an ensuite bathroom and a 43" SmartTV with Ambient Light and a bedroom with a specially made bunk bed for 4 adults, also with an ensuite bathroom. another separate toilet. The middle room does not have a SmartTV, but it does have a USB power supply in the reading lamps so that there is power for an iPad, or the like. The same reading lamps are of course also in the other two bedrooms. After an active day in the mountains, you can completely relax in the wellness area with a Finnish sauna and shower. The sauna and the ski storage room with ski boot heating can be found in the basement. Dogs are only allowed, in consultation, in the summer when there are less than 5 guests in the house. 2 covered parking spaces are also available.

We, family Da Costa Gomez - van Leeuwen, opened our newly built house in Kreischberg, Austria, for rental in July 2021. After our 1st visit to the region, in February of 2021, we immediately saw that we would like to come back here more often. The Murtal, in which Kreischberg is located, is a wonderful area with many recreational opportunities and wonderfully relaxed people. We are very happy with our house and hope others can enjoy it too.

A visit to the beautiful medieval town of Murau, which is 6 km away, is always fun and as such highly recommended. Here you will find nice shops, cozy terraces and good restaurants. Murau is slightly larger than Kreischberg and there you can find just a little more variety in shops and supermarkets. In addition to beautiful walks in the mountains, you can also cycle or walk along the Murradweg. This is a famous cycle path along the river Mur, right through the region. Winter in Kreischberg In winter, from December 1, a fantastic and snow-sure family ski area with over 40 km of slopes and modern lifts is ready to enjoy. The slopes are 350m from the front door. The Funpark is one of the absolute best in the world! Major FIS competitions are organized here every year. There are also plenty of opportunities here for cross-country skiers and winter hikers. Fancy tobogganing? That is also possible here! Swimming in the indoor pool in Murau can of course also be very pleasant.
