The apartment is situated on the first floor of the property. The kitchen, bedroom and balcony offer stunning views of the mountain range opposite as well as a view of Lake Millstatt. For bird lovers, various species of birds can be seen from the balcony both in the garden and flying overhead. Please note that we do not allow pets. Please note to go swimming you have to drive. Also bike routes returning to us are ALL uphill. The apartment is fully equipped including microwave, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle. To welcome you, we provide milk, sugar, tea and coffee so you can have a cuppa when you get here. Cable TV, Blu-ray player, PS3 games console and Wifi are also included (together with a selection of games and DVDs). Board and card games are also available and live in the wooden cabinet next to the freezer in the kitchen. To reach Lake Millstatt is only a 25 minute walk for 5 minute drive away. The area offers a golf course (which can be reached within 10 minutes drive). Bad Kleinkircheim with it's ski area and thermal baths is only a 20 minute drive away.

We have lived here since December 2017, having moved from the hustle and bustle of busy lives in the South-East of England. Please inform us in advance of your expected arrival time. For guests arriving very early or very late, please contact us beforehand and we will be happy to collect groceries on your behalf. There is no extra charge for this service. He doesn't go into the upstairs apartment but, lives with us in our ground floor apartment, but we want you to be aware he is on the premises.

Görtschach is a small village situated between Sappl and Lammersdorf. It has stunning views of the mountains and Lake Millstatt. From the property there are various hiking/walking routes for varying abilities, routes taking you to Dobriach, Millstatt, local hutters and places of interest. Monday to Saturday between 12pm and 2pm the Austrian "siesta" applies. Also all day Sunday is quiet time. Therefore you can be rest assured of a tranquil and laid back holiday. You can eat out at a number of restaurants and cafes located within walking distance from the property. Millstatt Abbey is a local tourist attraction. A 45 minute car journey also takes you to the Porsche Museum in Gmund. The nearest airport is Klagenfurt Airport,being 60 km away from Haus Kleiner Seeblick. The nearest train station in Spittal is a 15km journey.
