Haus Peter is a five apartment house located near the centre of the beautiful Styrian market town of Murau. The house is over 100 years old with great character but has a modern interior with fully fitted kitchens & bathrooms in every apartment. There is a modern heating system. Plenty of parking including garage space. There is a heated ski boot room. And a small garden outside. The house is a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. The mountains are on the door step too!
Murau is in the beautiful Austrian state of Styria. It is very picturesque with mountains all around and the fast flowing river Mur running through the centre of town. Skiing is very close by at the Kreichsberg resort (10 mins by car or local train). Other skiing is available nearby at Lachtal, Saint Lambrecht & Turracher Hohe. A little further takes you to other ski areas including Katchsberg & Mauterndorf. Murau is great in summer too with numerous hiking possibilities close by. There is an open air swimming pool in the town. And the famous Murauer Brewery established in 1495! A short walk from your apartment takes you to a bakery, pizza Restaurant & supermarkets. In 5 minutes walk you in the centre of town with many more shopping and eating/drinking options.
