Henk welcomes you to Haus Waldruhe! Since 1 February 2021, I have been running this idyllic gem in the village of Mallnitz at an altitude of 1,200 metres. Mallnitz is located in one of Carinthia's largest and most beautiful nature reserves, the Hohe Tauern. My experience in the hospitality industry will ensure that you have an unforgettable stay with culinary surprises and cosy evenings in my Waldstube. I will do everything I can to give you a wonderful summer or winter holiday in one of my seven fully renovated apartments, which are equipped with all modern conveniences. Neighborhood info

Mallnitz is the perfect place for winter sports in Austria. Ideal for a family vacation with the children, but touring skiers and snowboarders also find plenty to enjoy in Mallnitz. The 3246 m high house mountain Ankogel gets its snow from both the north and south side of the Tauern main ridge and is therefore one of the most snow-sure ski mountains of Carinthia.
