We are a Dutch couple with hospitality experience that strives to let people/families enjoy a well-deserved holiday. You will find a friendly welcome and all the help you may need. We are ready for you to let you enjoy your holiday to the fullest. In our cozy Stube there are sitting areas, where you can enjoy breakfast, but also a drink. You can order freshly baked bread rolls from us every day. The necessary information about the region can be found in the Stube; You can also play a fun game with the football table, the billiards, the ping-pong table or outside at the Balket or Batminton. In the entrance hall there is a cupboard full of reading books to borrow and board games for young and old. If you need anything, just ask us. We will do our best to arrange it for you! Around the Christmas period, it is worth visiting the Christmas markets of Velden, Portschach and the Pyramidenkogel. Weekly markets: Thu and Sat morning in Klagenfurt and on Tue morning in Villach, farmer's market on Thu evening between 5/10 p.m. Faak am See etc. etc.. Winter sports are also a possibility, 20 minutes by car you will find the Kanzelbahn, with free parking, which takes you to the Gerlitzen ski area.

Cosy mountain huts, wide slopes and impressive panoramic views in the heart of Carinthia create the perfect conditions for a varied and relaxing winter holiday. 17 km from Villach and 18 km from Klagenfurt (airport). Velden has a train station and the bus stops outside our door. You can use our spacious private parking with video surveillance, Pool, Wi-Fi, and BBQ facilities for free. We provide various freshly baked rolls and croissants or breakfast by prior reservation. Around the house, there is a large garden with a children's playground and a large heated outdoor pool. Furthermore, table tennis, basketball, billiards, and table football are available. During your stay, you will receive the Wörthersee Plus card for free in the high season, which gives you discounts on various activities. Our newly renovated apartments/studios are equipped with a fully furnished kitchen. The apartments/studios have a hairdryer, filter coffee machine/Senseo, kettle, dishwasher, oven or microwave, and refrigerator with freezer compartment.

The house is located in the municipality of Velden am Wörthersee. The region is ideal for relaxing on or in the water of the many lakes it has to offer, not only the Wörthersee, but also the Ossiachersee, Faakersee, Keutschachersee, Fortsee, Rauschelesee, Langsee, at all these lakes you can swim. Furthermore, tour boats, speedboats, pedal boats, sailboats, kayaks, subs, bicycles, etc. are available for rent to enjoy all facets. For cyclists many signposted cycling routes. If you prefer to drive an Almstrasse by car, you can choose between the Dobriach at Villach, Nockalmstrasse, Gerlitzen alpenstrasse, Wurzelpass or Loibi Pass, all with many S-bends and breathtaking viewpoints. In winter, the Gerlitzen (Treffen) is the place to enjoy your ski holiday. The gondola with spacious parking lot is a 20-minute drive away.
