COUNTRY HOUSE Riesneralm is build according to ecological criteria, and equipped with an environmentally friendly photovoltaic system Situated direct on the ski slope to have Ski in and out. The Riesneralm ski area (part of the Schneebärenland ski area) the mountain is a winter vacation destination well-known for its manicured slopes, unique children's ski swing, ski school and a sledge run. With deep snow decents and freestyle areas, both amateur and expert skiers will enjoy the trails through the valley. In the warmer months, numerous hiking and mountain bike tours start just outside the front door. Alpine huts invite you to enjoy a needed break or maybe a cozy picnic. In the Winter Donnersbachwald is a paradise for the big and little snow fans. Enjoy curve drawing on snowy, perfectly groomed slopes + award-winning, stop-offs or relax with the apres-ski life. Deep snow - and freestyle addicts will find untouched powder descents, the new Cross Ride track, a track is prepared over hills, steep curves and through tunnels. The Kids Ski Area is a private 5 hectares area with 5 lifts. They will enjoy Plates flash and magic carpets, as well as the Snow Magic ski school, a complete package to inspire your kids. Also 16 km cross-country trail through the valley (the entrance is just 400 meters from the chalet), or explore the nature on winter hiking paths. The 4000m long sledge run from the Mörsbachalm is one more adventure for guests.
