Company info

We're the Burtscher family, and we're glad to be your hosts. For three generations we've cared for the orchard behind our house. Our grandmother worked it tirelessly – picking apples, pruning trees, mowing the grass. Our father pressed plenty of juice, gardened and distilled schnapps. We children climbed high into the treetops and pinched raspberries. Our orchard is a place of soulful belonging. Some things simply never change. What's new is that we now welcome guests, too. After all, precious things are meant to be shared.

Property info

We planted six chalets, carefully and thoughtfully, in our orchard. The timber comes entirely from our own forest. We produce our electricity sustainably with our own small hydropower plant. We happily do without the frills. The essentials are here anyway.

A holiday needs special places. Places that stay with you – in your heart, at least. The Montafon moves you. Framed by the grand ranges of the Rätikon, Silvretta and Verwall, it's one of Vorarlberg's most beloved mountain valleys. What makes it so distinctive – from its building traditions and local customs to its farming – is the signature of this special corner of the world.
