This new three bedroomed apartment sleeping six, has a large lounge area with a separate dining area and kitchen. The heating is underfloor, controlled by a central panel in the apartment. Each bedroom is furnished with a king sized bed and luxury mattress ensuring a great night’s sleep. The master bedroom has a lavish ensuite featuring a walk-in rain shower. Two further bedrooms have the use of a shower room and separate toilet. All bedlinen is white luxury 400 thread count Egyptian cotton and towels 100 combed white cotton. The modern Kitchen comes fully appointed with a dishwasher and microwave and all the necessary utensils to meet your cooking requirements. The main lounge area and two bedrooms have large wall mounted flat screened smart televisions with Netflix. The apartment benefits from under floor heating throughout and fast free WIFI. Kindly remove outdoor shoes inside. Residents have use of large ski storage area and drying room for boots and ski gear.

My name is Clarissa, I am your host. I am originally from Ireland. After holidaying in Murau with our family for many years we decided to buy a property with several apartments so we could put down some roots in this beautiful part of Austria. We love the quaint village and enjoy making the most of the numerous Summer and Winter mountain activities that Murau offers. Winter skiing is especially excellent at Kreisburg and mountain hiking and swimming is on our doorstep in Summer. We are now fortunate to be able to welcome guests to our little bit of heaven!

The house is located in the most picturesque part of Murau, surrounded by trees and mountains. In winter, there is free ice skating 2 minutes walk away. There is also a small tobogganing and cross country ski area immediately opposite the property, which is also free. Kreischberg Ski resort is an 8 minute drive. The Kreischburg ski pass also allows free train journeys to and from the slopes from St Leonard Station, a 2 minute drive away or 8 minutes on foot. In summer the ice rink becomes the swimming lake, complete with sun beds, separate children’s pool area and outdoor game area. There is a small charge for admission in summer. The house looks down on the picturesque town of Murau. A short walk of 10 minutes takes you to the children’s park area, village square, restaurants, hotels and attractions. There is also a beautiful 10 minute walk to the nearby lake starting right in front of the house. The walk is suitable for all ages. The Red Bull Ring, home of the Austrian Grand Prix is 50 minutes easy drive away. Dates this year are 30th June to 2nd July. There is also a shuttle bus option at E32 return daily from Murau train station, a 3 minute car drive away.
