“It was a cabin very high up the mountain so there is privacy and incredible views of the mountain peaks! The cabin was cosy and big enough for a family. There is also a small playground for kids. The staff was kind too and there was food in the day.”

1973, when the first slopes were shaped, our grandfather started with a small restaurant for the first skiers here at the Thurntaler. Continuous renovations and enlargments were made over the years... 40 years later the biggest renovation was made - without losing the old character from our Thurntaler Rast. We and our team are pleased to be your hosts and hope you can feel that during your stay.

Property info

The Thurntaler Rast. Our "ski lodge" during the winter - a marvelous place to spend the winter holidays. Why? The way from the bed to the slopes is, so to speak, no longer than a ski. On sunny days, the terrace invites to spend the afternoon there. A cold and foggy day? The fireplace inside can give comfort for sure. In the summer our Thurntaler Rast is a good start for hikes in all directions and the place to be for gourmets. And then there are our 5 apartments on the ground floor - 20 steps from the bed to the slope - or the flower meadow. living - eating - celebrating ... we are pleased to help you to shape your holidays as you like.

Neighborhood info

During the winter the biggest advantage is to be right next to the slopes. From ski school for the beginners to the downhill for the experienced skiers there's a lot of choice for everyone. In the summer months there are numerous trails to hike through the woods, ways to ride a bike and hills to start with your paraglider. We also daresay to have a great team in our kitchen to prepare delicous meals for you and a large wooden terrace to enjoy the sun.
