A Traditional Styrian Holiday Home is waiting for your booking! Enjoy your stay in Styria in a private traditional cottage, originally built around 1825. It was recently renovated with focus to keep it's rural charme alive. A perfect escape place for visiting Western Styria, surrounded by vineyards and famous culinary specialities. The famous city of Graz is only 25 minutes away (by car). The cottage consists of a comfortable living-dining area, two bedrooms and separated bathroom and restroom. In summertimes, you're invited to use the pool of your hosts too! We're looking forward to your reservation!
My name ist Hans Peter and I live in the middle of Western Styria, surrounded by vineyards and beautiful landscape. My wife Ingrid and I like to go hiking, travelling and take care of our vegetable garden. We are reliable and polite and expect the same from our guests. We would be happy to welcome you in Styria!
In 2019 in the Austrian TV show "9 Plätze, 9 Schätze" our Schilcherland region, especially the hills and vineyards of Hochgrail were selected as the second most beautiful area in Austria. An own car is recommended for reaching the nearby city of Graz (25 minutes ride). Several traditional "Buschenschank" - a place where typical regional specialities (wine, smoked beef and pork, beetle bean salad) are served, could be reached by foot (~15min) or bike.
