Property info

The Rivulet is Hobart’s newest heritage listed boutique hotel ( formerly Amberley house). Serious money has been spent rebuilding, reengineering, refurbishing, reimagining , renovating and rejuvenating this grand 19th century manor house which is in the perfect location to enjoy all that Hobart has to offer. The Rivulet is superbly situated . It is only two kilometres from historic Battery point and vibrant Salamanca square and a further stone’s throw from Constitution Dock. We are located on Sandy Bay road (a major transport route) with the Casino adjacent and the Derwent River and Hobart’s premier yacht clubs opposite. Next door are the Kingborough playing fields accessed through our side gate for running and exercise. Immediately behind us is Lambert Reserve for bushwalks and through which flows Lambert Rivulet from which we derive our name. The Reserve connects with a far lengthier walking trail to the Signal Station at the top of mount nelson and a delightful café. Each room of this lodge features King Beds, Air Conditioners , Smart TV’s , luxurious bathrooms and tailored amenities . Six of the bedrooms have baths and all rooms and the common areas
