Annie’s Garden Cottage was constructed in 2015 and sits within the grounds of a heritage listed 1905 home that is situated in Adelaide Street South Hobart Tasmania. Nestled into the back of the garden and away from the street front, the Cottage is a safe and secure place to stay and is within close proximity to the South Hobart shops and cafés. The cottage contains heritage features including an open fireplace, ceiling rose and heritage light switches as well as antique furniture that provide you with the ambience of old world charm. It also has modern amenities such as electrical heating and a fully equipped kitchen with oven, top plates, fridge and microwave. Other amenities included are a washing machine, clothes line and ironing facilities to ensure that your stay is a relaxed and comfortable one.The Cottage is light, airy and sunny and with its own front and back courtyard area where you can sit and enjoy a cuppa or a glass of wine, read a book or dine alfresco. The Cottage has its own off street parking.

Located within a five minute walk from Annie’s Garden Cottage you will find the local Delicatessen where you can purchase fresh produce and gourmet delights, Restaurants, Bakery, Cafés and Corner Stores. It is only a 15-20 minute walk to the City Centre shopping precinct, Historic Battery Point, Salamanca Place or the Hobart water front where you have the option to catch a ferry to Mona or simply enjoy the surrounding Café,s, Wine Bars, Galleries and Gift Shops. Whilst a stroll in the direction of Mount Wellington will lead you to the beautiful Cascade Gardens, Brewery and the Historic Convict Female Factory. For those with a vehicle, there is secure off street parking and easy access for day trips to surrounding beaches, wineries, cafés or a beautiful picturesque drive to places such Mount Wellington or the Dentrecasteaux Channel that will lead you to places such as the Bruny Island Ferry Terminal at Kettering or to Peppermint Bay. Whilst a trip to the stunning Huon Valley will lead you to places such as the Tahune AirWalk or Hastings Caves.
