Neighborhood info

We are situated approximately 1000m elevation in the Cairns Hinterland and only an hour away. Our area is famous for our fertile volcanic soils and produces avocado, Mango, Corn , Peanuts, Coffee, Blueberries, Potato and tropical fruits. We are about 15 minutes drive to the volcanic lakes of Eacham and Barrine and down the road from Lake Tinaroo a popular boating and camping area. In the past two decades gourmet trails have become popular with places to taste local coffee, a distillery for whiskey, a tea plantation and gallos chocolate factory 15 minutes in the direction of Malanda boasting a dairy with over 500 cows, and homemade cheese and chocolate. Further afield in Milla Milla about 40 mins away do not miss the spectacular Milla Milla falls as you follow the waterfall circuit and enjoy the oasis of cool mountain air in the midst of the tropics.
