Jindabyne is a gorgeous rural town located on the Lake Jindabyne foreshore and is surrounded by the beautiful Snowy Mountains range and Kosciuszko National Park. The area is known for snow activities such as skiing, snowboarding and snow play at Perisher and Thredbo. In summer Jindabyne offers quiet country roads for the keen road cyclists and an abundance of mountain bike trails at all levels. Lake Jindabyne is a mecca for watersports enthusiasts with waterskiing and wakeboarding. Fishermen will find quiet coves to cast a line or have a fly fish in the pristine streams surrounding our area. Kosciuszko National Park is a mecca for four-wheel driving and bush walking. Sightseers will find many look outs to observe the stunning flora, fauna and vastness of this beautiful nature reserve. Thredbo Resort is a year-round mountain resort with many activities for the keen outdoor enthusiasts. The main chair lift operates year-round giving guests access to skiing, snowboarding, downhill mountain biking, bush walking, hiking and sightseeing.
