Clifton Homestead is a unique Bed and Breakfast within a Heritage listed house & charming cottages all set in expansive landscaped grounds with an iconic Oast House within the grounds - now The Kiln - open for lunch.
We offer spacious luxury country comfort accommodation, Our guest rooms are generously proportioned and beautifully furnished. For your enjoyment, we have a sunrooms, a beautiful Drawing Room to relax, the lovely front verandah for sunny afternoons, garden areas and shady corners to explore and of course - cosy seating in your room for those who prefer to hide away. We can offer the option to order dinner from our retaurant The Kiln ( 24hrs notice required)
All rates are for two adults and inclusive of sunstantial continental breakfast in our dining room. Please note that Clifton is not suitable for children.
Our location places us ideally for exploring Southern Tasmania. You will find Clifton only two minutes from Huonville, thirty minutes from Hobart.

We are uniquely positioned for easy access to Tahune Airwalk Hastings Cave & Thermal Springs, Ida Bay Railway, Hartz Mtn. National Park & Cockle Creek, Cygnet, the Channel Highway & the picturesque villages. We have a phethora of wineries, distilleries & cide houses along the way in any direction, it is also a easy return trip to drive to far south of Australia as you can go.
For those who wish to stay from the hussle & bussle of Hobart you are only 30 minutes drive, but allows you go access to Hobart & its attrations & events, but also Kunanyi ( Mt Wellington) .
