Currently only available on weekends but do enquire for special weekday options. Our beautiful 1850's cottage offers comfortable, modern facilities whilst maintaining its old charm and warmth. Located a short distance from the town of Watervale, its quiet seclusion offers you a private experience to share with family, friends and loved ones, whilst still being close enough to several local townships for easy access to shops, hotels, restaurants, bakeries, art galleries, antique stores and of course, famous wineries. Breakfast provisions to cook your own breakfast are provided for the first morning and continental provisions thereafter. The cottage offers two full-size bedrooms (one with queen bed, one with a double) within its solid stone walls plus a separate bedroom housed alongside the main building in an old schoolroom (one double and one single bed). There is a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet and another toilet located in the laundry. The laundry has a washer and dryer. The lounge has a TV and a combustion wood heater. Wood is provided free of charge. The cottage and schoolroom are fully air conditioned, the bedrooms also have ceiling fans.

We are opening our home to you; it's not an impersonal B&B, it's our personal space as well as your home away from home. When you make your booking, please tell us a bit about yourself and who's coming with you, so we know who we are hosting. The famous Clare Valley, with all it has to offer, is literally at your doorstep. The internet is your best gateway to finding what's on offer. Say hello to Tim and Cass at Tim McNeil Wines right next door, within walking distance. Many more wineries are all within a short drive or bike ride away. Check out the Riesling Trail if you've brought your bikes with you, or hire one from Cogwebs bike hire in Auburn or one of several options in Clare.
