Stanthorpe lies at the heart of “The Granite Belt” region, which extends for 50km north from the border of New South Wales. The town is surrounded by large granite outcrops, which can be seen as you drive through the countryside, visiting the many farms and vineyards, tasting and gathering local supplies to enjoy during your stay. Finney Cottage was created with comfort in mind. We have carefully curated some old world charm in keeping with the era of the cottage whilst adding all the modern comforts. Wood and ample electric heating is provided. We ask that consideration is given to our Our place has 3 bedrooms, 3 Queen beds and 2 Bathrooms. It is advisable to note when travelling as a group that the 3rd bedroom is a sunroom when not required as a bedroom. The large sofa bed is not made up unless required. The entry is via the main bedroom or directly on to the verandah. The garden has an outdoor dining area and the front verandah provides a street outlook to watch the passing parade.
