Situated on the south coast of beautiful Kangaroo Island, our 200 acre property is frequented by dozens of kangaroos and wallabies every evening. Visitors may also see echidnas and Rosenberg's Heath Goannas, sometimes right at the back boor step. Enjoy bushwalking and photography on our property or try beachcombing along the coast of Flour Cask Bay. Flour Cask Bay Retreat has only two rooms available, so guests can find privacy or enjoy a cup of tea in the afternoon on the veranda and watch the birdlife in the garden and vying for a place in the birdbath, or settle down with a wine in the evening getting to know us and watch the sun go down. Located just off the main road almost halfway between Penneshaw and Kingscote, Flour Cask Bay is well placed to explore all Kangaroo Island has to offer, including wineries on the Dudley Peninsula, local honey producers, national parks, coastal views and local history. With so much coastline, fishing opportunities abound for the keen angler.
