Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, The Formby Hotel/Alexander Hotels and Backpackers offers varied accommodation across two adjacent properties in Devonport, 500 metres from Devonport Ferry Terminal. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. All accommodation is accessed via stairs. The Formby property boasts rooms with an en suite as well as dormitory-style accommodation. The Alexander property offers double rooms or dormitory rooms, all with shared facilities. Guests can enjoy the games room, bars and The Central Restaurant located at the property. Both dormitory facilities have a communal lounge and kitchen area and an on-site guest laundry. There are various restaurants and shopping a short walk away from the property. Devonport Golf Club is a 10-minute drive away. The Formby Hotel bar has live entertainment downstairs until late on Friday and Saturday nights.

Please note that the Standard Double Room with Shared Bathroom is located in an adjacent building from the main Formby Hotel Building, approximately 40 metres away.

Please note that all accommodation, at both properties are located on the 1st floor with access via a staircase only.

The Formby Hotel is home of the popular Central Bar and Restaurant – the bar is open with live music or DJs Friday & Saturday nights until 11pm and some rooms will be affected by noise from this on these evenings.
