Hadley's Orient Hotel is 4.5 star Victorian-era accommodations nestled in the heart of Hobart, on the doorstep of the city and a short stroll from the waterfront, Mona Roma and Salamanca Place. The oldest continuously operating boutique hotel in Tasmania, Hadley's plays host to almost two centuries of stories, scandals and secrets to be explored - tales of celebrities-past, nights of cabaret and the most marvelous soirees. A unique experience awaits at this local icon. Beautifully restored heritage features, on-site gallery, immersive audio Trail of Terrific Tales, and incredible art surround every guest. The Orient Bar is open daily inviting guests to savor an exquisite collection of Tasmanian products. Traditional Afternoon Tea is served Saturday and Sunday in the gracefully restored Atrium. Hadley's Art Prize is held annually, offering $100,000 to the best depiction of the Australian landscape with free entry to the finalists' exhibition on display inside the hotel. There is nothing quite like Hadley's.
