Herberton Township is one the oldest towns on the tablelands.Established in 1880 on Tin Mining, in its heyday a total of 17 pubs, and many other establishments. Herberton Hotel was the first building ever granted a title to build, the bimrose family started strait away selling alcohol on this premise. The township has the award winning Historical village as well as the Mining museum as well as the Steam railway running most weekend. Plus many more local attractions and day trips available.
