The Sanctuary Stanthorpe - 65 acres of serenity!! We offer accommodation options catering for between 2 & 10 people in one or two timber cabins which are PET FRIENDLY. **We supply pillows, donna/doona covers, PLEASE BYO SHEETS & TOWELS.** Cabins are self-catering (with full kitchens with all you need). The property is hidden away in 65 acres of beautiful, totally private and peaceful natural bushland on Qld's Granite Belt, 15 minutes from Stanthorpe and right in the middle of so much to see and do. Perfect for romantic getaways, family escapes and larger group catchups. Get back to basics and unwind from the everyday hustle and bustle by switching off. We don't offer WIFI for that purpose. Relax, Reconnect, Refresh, Recharge. The property is a mix of open fields, bush & rocky outcrops. The granite rock formations are great to climb (for kids and kids at heart) with some reaching over 10m high. The property has hiking tracks (BYO push bikes), dams and open paddock areas, ideal for a family cricket match and picnics. Set over 950 meters above sea level (100 meters higher than Stanthorpe) & as such enjoy the best of the cold winter weather (including snow) as well as the gentle cooling summer breezes & low humidity. Stanthorpe's shops, hotels, great restaurants & fabulous wineries are less than 15 minutes away.

Accommodation Options: Possum’s Hollow & Hooters Hut are rustic country two bedroom timber cabins. Each cabin offers spacious comfortable accommodation for up to five people. The cabins are fully self-contained and located 2 minutes’ walk from each other but yet still private. The cabins are great for families or couples. Each cabin has a full kitchen, an indoor wood burning fire & lots of room to relax. At Possums, one bedroom has a queen bed plus a single & the other two king singles. Hooter’s Hut has a queen bed in each of the 2 bedrooms plus a single bed. **BYO SHEETS & TOWELS** **PET FRIENDLY** Both cabins open onto a large verandahs with a BBQ and places to relax, and each cabin steps down to their own fire pit area which we supply fire cookware. Relax & watch the possums, kangaroos & Koalas. BYO bikes and explore on site walking & cycle tracks Sitting by the fire with a glass of wine is a must or Enjoy spectacular night skies by the outside firepit. (Wood provided through colder months).
