Jackies City Central Apartment is privately owned and self‑managed. While the apartment is located within the Southern Cross Atrium complex, it operates independently. You’ll still have full access to the resort facilities, including the 3 swimming pools, heated spa, gym, sauna and outdoor BBQ's but reception services and check‑in are handled directly by us. The bedroom features a queen size bed with a spacious bathroom with a washing machine and dryer. The lounge room has a sofa bed that converts into a double bed and there’s also a cosy outdoor lounge area to relax in. A cot is available on request at no extra charge. The apartment has a full‑size kitchen with stove top and microwave with kitchen utensils, everything you need plus a breakfast bar - but if you don't feel like cooking there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. I don’t recommend it for four adults unless you’re happy with a cosy space but it’s great for three people, a couple or a family with younger children. The apartment is on the first floor (16 stairs, no elevator) and while it doesn’t have a view, it’s a comfortable and welcoming space to relax in. The main shopping centre is right next door (Cairns Central Shopping Centre), with the supermarket open until 10pm. You’ll be right in the heart of the city and an easy walk to the Esplanade / Night Markets. Minimum stay is 2 nights.

You’re right in the heart of the city here, just next to Cairns Central Shopping Centre — perfect for shopping, movies and grabbing anything you need from Coles / Woolworths. The Kuranda Scenic Railway station is also close by and there are plenty of restaurants and cafés all around. The Cairns Esplanade Lagoon and waterfront are all an easy walk away, so you can explore the best of Cairns without needing a car. Everything in the CBD is within comfortable walking distance. Southern Cross Atrium Apartments is in a great spot for visitors — close to public transport, tour pick‑up points and only a short stroll to the Cairns Night Markets, Rusty’s Markets and the Marina for reef trips.
